sesh - App-Specific Terms of Service

These App-Specific Terms supplement WagDev LLC's General Terms of Service. By using sesh, you agree to both these terms and the General Terms.

1. Service Description

sesh is a workout tracker for personal use, developed by WagDev LLC.

sesh stores all of your data locally on your device using SQLite. There is no account, no server, no cloud sync, and no online registration. Your workout data never leaves your device. The network traffic the app generates is limited to serving banner advertisements through Google AdMob, gathering your advertising consent where that is required (both in Section 4 below), and anonymous crash, error and app-stability reporting through Sentry in released builds (see Section 2.4 of the sesh Privacy Policy Supplement).

1.3 One-Time Ad Removal, and What Stays Free

Every feature in sesh is free. Logging sets, reps and weight, building routines, creating custom exercises, your full exercise history, your charts, your personal records and your progress over time are all available to every user at no charge, and none of them is ever gated behind a payment. Cost recovery for development is via banner ads (Section 4).

sesh offers one optional in-app purchase: a single one-time ad removal. It is a non-consumable product, which means it is bought once. It is not a subscription, it never renews, and it never expires. There is no other purchase in the app, and there is no premium tier, no trial and no auto-renewing plan.

The purchase removes the banner advertisements, and that is all it does. It unlocks no features, because no features are locked. Nothing about your workout data, your history or your charts changes when you buy it, and nothing about them is withheld if you do not.

sesh has no account, so your purchase is held by your App Store or Google Play account rather than by us. If you reinstall sesh, or move to a new device using the same store account, use Restore purchase in Settings to bring the ad removal back.

Pricing, refunds, and the handling of a purchase itself are governed by the store you bought through, Apple or Google, under that store's own terms. We do not process your payment and we never see your payment details.

2. Age Requirements

sesh is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 13 are prohibited from using the app. Users aged 13–17 should have parental permission.

3. License to Use sesh

WagDev grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use sesh on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the General Terms of Service.

4. Advertising

sesh displays banner advertisements through Google AdMob. Use of sesh constitutes acceptance of receiving advertisements. Details of the data AdMob collects are in:

Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, sesh presents Google's User Messaging Platform consent form before it requests any advertisement, and no ad is requested until you have answered it. If you refuse, sesh requests no ad and shows no banner. You can reopen that form, change any choice, or withdraw your consent entirely at any time from Settings, then Privacy options. That row appears only for users who were shown a consent form in the first place.

sesh never asks you for tracking permission. There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, so the advertising identifier is never made available to the ad SDK and your ads on iOS are non-personalized. There is nothing for you to grant and nothing for you to decline. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your system settings at any time (see Section 5.2 of the sesh Privacy Policy Supplement).

The app is fully functional either way, and it is fully functional with no banner at all if you buy the one-time ad removal described in Section 1.3.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Workout Data Belongs to You

Any workout data you create in sesh — exercise names, routine names, set values, notes — belongs to you. WagDev does not claim any ownership over your data. We also do not have access to it, because it never leaves your device.

5.2 No Sharing Surface

sesh has no social features and no mechanism to share workout data with other users. Any content you create in the app is for your own use.

7.1 Not Medical Advice

sesh is a logging and tracking tool. The exercise library and any guidance in the app are not medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, or are pregnant.

7.2 Personal Records

PR detection is informational only. Acceptance of any weight, duration, or intensity should be based on your own assessment of your capabilities and any guidance from your trainer or healthcare provider.

7.3 Use at Your Own Risk

Exercising involves risk of injury. By using sesh you acknowledge that WagDev is not responsible for any injury, illness, or other harm that may result from your use of the app or from any exercise you choose to perform.

8. Data Loss Risk

Because sesh stores data only on your device, your data is your responsibility to back up. Device loss, damage, factory reset, or uninstallation will permanently remove all sesh data on that device. Use your device's native backup system (iCloud Backup, Google One Backup) to preserve your data.

WagDev is not liable for any loss of sesh data and offers no service-level data-recovery commitment.

9. Updates

WagDev may release updates to sesh that change features, add disclosures, or modify the AdMob integration. Continued use of sesh after an update constitutes acceptance of these changes. For material changes to these terms, the version of this document will be bumped.

10. Termination

You may stop using sesh and uninstall it at any time. Uninstallation removes all local data. WagDev may discontinue sesh or remove it from the App Store / Play Store with reasonable notice.
