sesh - App-Specific Terms of Service

These App-Specific Terms supplement WagDev LLC's General Terms of Service. By using sesh, you agree to both these terms and the General Terms.
1. Service Description
sesh is a workout tracker for personal use, developed by WagDev LLC.
1.1 Core Features
- Log workouts: exercises, sets, reps, weights, durations, distances
- Build and reuse workout routines
- Browse a seeded library of common exercises and create your own
- Review per-exercise history and progress over time
- Calculate personal records (PRs) and streak metrics from your logged sessions
- Edit past workouts retroactively
- Switch between pounds and kilograms
1.2 Offline by Design
sesh stores all of your data locally on your device using SQLite. There is no account, no server, no cloud sync, and no online registration. The only network traffic generated by the app is for serving banner advertisements (see Section 4 below).
1.3 No Premium Tier
sesh has a single free tier with no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no premium-gated features. The full feature set is available to every user at no charge. Cost recovery for development is via banner ads.
2. Age Requirements
sesh is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 13 are prohibited from using the app. Users aged 13–17 should have parental permission.
3. License to Use sesh
WagDev grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use sesh on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the General Terms of Service.
4. Advertising
sesh displays banner advertisements through Google AdMob. Use of sesh constitutes acceptance of receiving advertisements. Details of the data AdMob collects are in:
- Section 4.3 of the WagDev Privacy Policy
- Section 2.3 of the sesh Privacy Policy Supplement
You may control or revoke ad-related data collection through your device's system privacy settings (see Section 5.2 of the sesh Privacy Policy Supplement). The app remains fully functional whether or not you grant ad tracking permission.
5. User Content
5.1 Your Workout Data Belongs to You
Any workout data you create in sesh — exercise names, routine names, set values, notes — belongs to you. WagDev does not claim any ownership over your data. We also do not have access to it, because it never leaves your device.
5.2 No Sharing Surface
sesh has no social features and no mechanism to share workout data with other users. Any content you create in the app is for your own use.
6. Acceptable Use
sesh is provided for personal fitness tracking. You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the app
- Circumvent any technical limitations or attempt to misuse the AdMob integration
- Use sesh in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
7. Disclaimer for Fitness Content
7.1 Not Medical Advice
sesh is a logging and tracking tool. The exercise library and any guidance in the app are not medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, or are pregnant.
7.2 Personal Records
PR detection is informational only. Acceptance of any weight, duration, or intensity should be based on your own assessment of your capabilities and any guidance from your trainer or healthcare provider.
7.3 Use at Your Own Risk
Exercising involves risk of injury. By using sesh you acknowledge that WagDev is not responsible for any injury, illness, or other harm that may result from your use of the app or from any exercise you choose to perform.
8. Data Loss Risk
Because sesh stores data only on your device, your data is your responsibility to back up. Device loss, damage, factory reset, or uninstallation will permanently remove all sesh data on that device. Use your device's native backup system (iCloud Backup, Google One Backup) to preserve your data.
WagDev is not liable for any loss of sesh data and offers no service-level data-recovery commitment.
9. Updates
WagDev may release updates to sesh that change features, add disclosures, or modify the AdMob integration. Continued use of sesh after an update constitutes acceptance of these changes. For material changes to these terms, the version of this document will be bumped.
10. Termination
You may stop using sesh and uninstall it at any time. Uninstallation removes all local data. WagDev may discontinue sesh or remove it from the App Store / Play Store with reasonable notice.
