Life Log - App-Specific Terms of Service

These App-Specific Terms supplement WagDev LLC's General Terms of Service. By using Life Log, you agree to both these terms and the General Terms.

1. Service Description

Life Log is a personal journaling application that helps you record and reflect on life's moments. The app offers:

1.1 Free Features

• Create text-based life log entries with date, title, and description
• Organize entries with pre-defined categories
• View and search your personal entries
• Export your data in CSV format (text only)

1.2 Premium Features

Premium subscription unlocks:

• Photo Attachments: Add photos to your entries (subject to storage limits)
• Shared Group Logs: Create or join group logs with family/friends
• Custom Categories: Create personalized categories beyond pre-defined options
• Enhanced Export: CSV export includes both text and photo data

2. Age Requirements

Life Log is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 13 are prohibited from using the app. Users aged 13-17 should have parental permission.

3. Pricing and Subscriptions

3.1 Pricing Structure

• Base App: Free to download and use
• Premium Subscription: $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year (optional)

3.2 Subscription Terms

• Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
• Cancel anytime through your platform's subscription settings
• Premium features remain active until the end of your current billing period
• All purchases are final and non-refundable

3.3 Payment Processing

On iOS, purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store and are subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. On Android, purchases are processed by Google via the Google Play Store. Subscription billing and receipts are managed by RevenueCat on our behalf. WagDev LLC does not store or have access to your payment card information.

Subscription management (including cancellation and refund requests) is handled by the platform that processed your purchase — iOS subscriptions must be managed through your Apple ID subscription settings, and Android subscriptions through Google Play subscription settings.

4. Premium Feature Details

4.1 Shared Group Logs

• Premium users can create or join shared group logs
• All group members have full read and write access to the shared log
• Group members can add, edit, or delete entries in the shared log
• You remain responsible for content you share in group logs
• Carefully consider who you invite to group logs as they will have full access

4.2 Photo Storage

• Premium users can attach photos to entries
• Photos are subject to reasonable size and quantity limits
• We reserve the right to implement or adjust storage limits as needed
• Photos are stored securely in Firebase Storage

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1 No-Tolerance Policy

Life Log maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Any content or conduct that violates these terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law may result in immediate content removal and account termination without prior warning. This includes, but is not limited to, sexually explicit material, content that exploits or endangers minors, hate speech, harassment, and content that promotes violence or illegal activity. See our Community Guidelines for the full list of prohibited content and behavior.

5.2 Your Content

• You retain ownership of all entries and photos you create
• You grant us a license to store and process your content as needed to provide the service
• You're responsible for all content you create or share

5.3 Shared Log Guidelines

When using shared group logs:

• Respect the privacy and feelings of group members
• Only share appropriate content
• Don't share others' personal information without consent
• Understand that all group members can see and modify shared content

5.4 Prohibited Content

Do not use Life Log to store or share:

• Illegal or harmful content
• Content that violates others' rights
• Malicious code or spam
• Content that violates our General Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

6. Data Management

6.1 Data Storage

• Your data is stored securely using Firebase Firestore
• Photos are stored in Firebase Storage
• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest

6.2 Data Export

• Free users can export text data in CSV format
• Premium users can export both text and photo data
• Export your data anytime through app settings

6.3 Account Deletion

• Delete your account anytime through app settings
• Deletion removes all your personal log entries immediately
• Content in shared group logs remains available to other group members
• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

7. Service Limitations

7.1 Storage and Usage Limits

We reserve the right to implement reasonable limits on:

• Photo sizes and total storage per user
• Number of entries or photos
• API usage rates

These limits ensure service quality for all users and will be communicated clearly if implemented.

7.2 Service Availability

• Life Log requires an internet connection for sync and premium features
• We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
• Premium features require an active subscription

8. Termination

8.1 Your Rights

• Cancel premium subscription anytime
• Delete your account anytime
• Export your data before termination

8.2 Our Rights

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these terms or our General Terms
• Abuse the service or features
• Engage in fraudulent activity

9. Changes to Life Log

We may update Life Log with new features or changes. Significant changes to premium features or pricing will be communicated in advance.
